    Hello Sweetheart,

With Christmas and Its associated celebrations just just a few days away, I have been busy preparing a card to distribute among family, friends and neighbours. This is something that we have done together for the 50+ years of our married life. This is another of those projects that is a further reminder that your chair will be empty this Christmas.

But our loss is heaven’s gain as they say. I have tried to be positive, honest and authentic as I have chosen words that reflect what we have believed all these years. What do you think of the following?

If you had access to the Baulkham Hills Baptist Church

Directory and turned to R, this is what you would read,

                                  ROBINSON,   Mike      Bev (with Jesus)

Is Christmas celebrated in heaven? Well, the first Christmas certainly was when countless angels overflowed the parapets of heaven and gathered in   Bethlehem for a celebration.

Suddenly, the angel was joined by a vast host of others—the armies of heaven—praising God and saying, “Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.”

Having completed her part of our earthly journey, Bev will spend her first Christmas in the presence of her Lord.

So, with that assurance filling my heart, I send the warmest Christmas greetings from my family to you and yours.

    Mike

Iwould love to be sharing this Christmas with you, sweetheart. One day I believe that may be a reality. Meantime I will do all I can to be a reminder to our children & grandchildren of that reunion that we look forward to so much.

    But until then…..

You remain the love of my life

    Mike
