Maintaining a journal has been a vital part of my Christian journey for some years now. My commitment to that activity has varied from time to time but, overall, it has proven to be a most valuable exercise.
Sometimes I question the purpose and value of this investment but I never continue to be stirred and occasionally amazed at what the Lord has been teaching me as I read back over those entries - truths and insights that didn't seem so clear at the time of writing but that make much more sense in retrospect.
I certainly urge my brothers and sisters in Christ to keep some kind of journal in which they can write down their reflections on life.
I trust that my own reflections will be a means of encouragement to others who take time to read them.
