I have yet to meet a Disciple of Jesus Christ who has not gone through what I am calling in these reflections a 'desert experience'.
This experience is most often marked by a sense of the absence of God or, at least, the sense of distance between ourselves and our Lord.
What follows over the coming weeks are observations that reflect something of my own experience(s) when I have found myself in that desert place.
I offer them with the hope and prayer that they might strike a helpful chord with you.
